ALL WALKS ARE FREE IN 2011 - unless otherwise indicated
Please let us know if you cannot attend a walk following booking and we can allocate those spaces to walkers on the waiting list. ONLINE
Simply treat the booking system as any other online shop.
There will be no financial transaction or bank details required, just follow the process through to the end.
You will first have to create a User Account. Look to the top right of the Home Page where it states - No account yet? Register Click Register to create your account. Just follow the prompts.
Remember your password if you return to book further walks.
Please read the Terms & Conditions when they appear (also below).
A confirmation will be sent to your entered email address.
YOU MUST LET US HAVE DETAILS OF ANY MEDICAL CONDITIONS, INCLUDING THAT OF MEMBERS OF YOUR PARTY AT TIME OF BOOKING. BY BOOKING FOR MULTIPLE PERSONS, YOU DECLARE THAT THEY ARE FIT TO WALK AND ACCEPT THESE TERMS. DO CONSULT WITH YOUR PARTY. A notes box will appear towards the end of your booking for this purpose or do call to discuss any concerns.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Liability Valeways and all delivery partners have endeavoured to ensure the safety of all festival participants. It cannot, however, be held liable for any injury or loss of, or damage to, personal property, however caused, except to the extent to which it is unlawful to exclude such liability under the applicable law. You are advised to take out insurance against accident and personal injury.
The responsibilty for your walk is that of the individual provider namely - Valeways, Vale of Glamorgan Ramblers, Vale of Glamorgan Council or Llantwit Major Town Council.
Health & Safety It is the responsibility of all walkers to ensure that they are physically fit enough to take part in the walks that they have selected and that they have appropriate clothing and equipment.
Age Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. It is the Parents/Guardians sole responsibility to select walks to suit the ability of their children.
Timing Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the start of each walk. Walks will commence at the given time, whether all participants have arrived or not.
Weather The walk leader will be at the meeting place whatever the weather. However, in exceptional weather conditions, the walk may be re-routed or cancelled to ensure your safety.
Dogs Sorry no dogs. This is due to the possibility of livestock present and the potential dangerous interest dogs attract from cattle and horses. Furthermore not all participants may be confident with dogs.
Participant Cancellations The 2011 Festival has free walks for all. However please let us know as soon as possible if you cannot attend so we can relist the availability for other walkers as many of the walks will have a waiting list.
Walk Alterations & Cancellations The organisers reserve the right to alter this festival programme without prior notice. The details in this programme are believed to be correct at the time of going to press. The right to alter routes is also reserved. We also reserve the right to cancel a walk in exceptional circumstances and will endeavour to contact participants using telephone and email contacts provided.
PHOTOGRAPHS Professional or amateur photographers may be present on your walk (s). Permission for photographs is deemed to be given upon booking. However please let your walk leader or the photographer aware on the day if you choose not to be part of any photographs. Pictures may be used on websites or future publications.
