A great circular walk starting at Penarth Barrage passing the old dockland area on to Mermaid Quay with the iconic buildings, the Norwegian Church, the Senedd and the Pierhead building. The peaceful Wetlands and Hanadryad Park take us to the International Sports Village and the Pont y Werrin Bridge, past the marina and back to the Barrage. 

 

Hospitality – Various cafes along Mermaid Quay and Custom House restaurant by the Barrage. 

 

Distance/terrain:  6.2 miles.
