	The 'taster' session will be held at the location and will be an opportunity to try out some of the techniques in this fast growing and enjoyable form of exercise. These techniques can be used on any walk and provide an enjoyable and supportive way of enhancing the walking experience. It suits both those who find walking a distance difficult, but it is equally of great benefit to those who already enjoy walking as a recreation. All the benefits will be fully explained during the session so why not come along and give it a try - you may be surprise yourself with how comfortable and enjoyable it is. Hospitality: Cafe available serving hot and cold food and refreshments. Overview Joining Travel & Parking Distance/terrain: The 'taster' will be on level, grassy area. The walk - a maximum of 3 miles around the park also on level grass or trail. Date: Saturday 12th May 2012 Timing: Start 12:00pm Return Approx. 2:00pm Leader: Howell Isaac - Age Cymru Meet at: Outside Visitor Centre, Cosmeston Lakes & Country Park Map Ref: Bring: Something to drink and a snack is suggested. Suitable footwear and clothing are essential - poles will be supplied for the session. Restrictions: No dogs. Suitable for adults only. Travel Directions: The park is well signposted on the road between Penarth & Sully, the B4267 Public Transport: Bus stops are situated directly outside the main entrance to the country park.
