A walk past a Norman castle into ancient woods up to the Salmon Leaps following stream through woods. Superb views over the Vale towards the end of the walk.

 

Hospitality - Public houses and cafe at end of walk.

Restrictions: No dogs

Travel Directions:Travelling from Cardiff turn right off the A4055 in the centre of Dinas Powys at the traffic lights by the infant school. The start point is at the end of this road to the left.

Those who have never visited this part of Wales, situated on the coast between the Gower and Cardiff, will enjoy walking through fertile, rolling lowland countryside adjoining the spectacular Heritage Coast with towering cliffs and remote beaches.  The Vale as its known locally is a maze of footpaths, country lanes, little villages, fine dining and country inns.
